Job summary

K2M Design, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, implement and analyze electrical systems for commercial buildings. The role centers on Arc Flash program improvement, data collection, and coordination with project teams.

Requirements include a PE license, ABET-accredited engineering degree, and SKM Power Tools proficiency. Remote work with up to 15% travel is available, with strong emphasis on building trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• Experience in AEC engineering field.
• Arc Flash or Power Systems studies experience.
• Proficiency with SKM Power Tools and photometric software.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% (remote).

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs engineering calculations.
• Produce high-quality, complete drawings.
• Develop specifications and data sheets.
• Support field work and installations checks.
• Coordinate with departments and suppliers.
• Ensure project on schedule and within budget.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Expand engineering breadth by client relationships.
