Job summary

EnerNex LLC, a CESI Group company, seeks a Director of Consulting Services to grow its United States consultancy business serving investor-owned utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and public power. The role requires senior client relationships, P&L ownership, and leadership across grid modernization, DER, and related advisory services.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum of external consulting or advisory engagements with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, or developers.
• Substantial US electric utilities network with decision-makers.
• Depth in at least one technical area (e.g., DERMS, interconnection, grid modernization, or transmission/distribution engineering).

Responsibilities

• Base salary. A base salary determined by market value and experience, determined by record and by the substantiated size of the portfolio the candidate can bring.
• Variable compensation. An uncapped profit share on originated and completed work.
• Represent EnerNex within the territory at state associations, ISO and RTO stakeholder processes, and industry conferences.
• Coordinate with CESI Group affiliates where scope extends beyond the United States or into laboratory testing and certification.
• Proactively prospects and develops new business, and executes strategic and tactical sales plans by selling the Company’s portfolio of consulting solutions.
