Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a BI reporting professional to develop, publish, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, leveraging SQL and DAX in an Azure SDW environment.

The role supports business users, collaborates with the BI team, and can be fully remote within the United States or at Ferguson's Newport News, VA office; requires 2-4+ years in Power BI, Azure, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience preferred.
• Beginner to intermediate understanding of DAX and SQL.
• Experience with Sage X3 a plus.
• 2-4+ years in developing Power BI reports, dashboards, metrics, and scorecards.
• 2-4+ years development experience in Data Analytics technologies such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure platform is a plus.
• Strong requirement analysis, design, and prototyping skills.
• Solid organizational skills and teamwork with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Use Power BI as the catalyst for analytics and understanding trends.
• Use SQL and DAX to solve complex business logic and needs.
• Combine multiple data tables from an Azure SDW environment to create Power BI datasets and reporting.
• Assist with building Data Analytics enterprise models using Microsoft technologies including Power BI, SSAS, AAS and data flows.
• Collaborate with the BI Team to design and implement schemas for accurate Power BI rendering.
• Participate in business analysis to gather reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Assist business users on data requirements to enhance data models.
• Use Microsoft Power Platform to automate reporting and processes.
• Design, implement, and support a platform providing ad-hoc access to large datasets.
• Create security roles and apply Row Level Security.
