Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking a Remote Post-Sales Security Systems Engineer to act as the technical architect after the sales phase, translating designs into precise installation packages and serving as the bridge between sales, CAD, and field technicians.

The role emphasizes design proficiency in access control and CCTV, with responsibilities spanning BOM scrubs, installation documentation, and field support to ensure seamless integrations and accurate As-Built outcomes.

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in the security industry.
Experience in the design and planning of access control and video systems.
Professional electronic security certifications or training (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop engineering solutions for complex system installations, upgrades, and conversions.
Maintain deep understanding of ACS, IDS, CCTV and IT architecture.
Create and manage installation packages including wiring diagrams and device schedules.
Collaborate with CAD department to produce floor plans and drawings.
Lead RFI issuance and tracking to resolve technical discrepancies.
Support permitting and on-site field installation challenges.
