Job summary

Holt International Children is seeking a Post Adoption Services Specialist in Eugene, OR. The role oversees administrative, educational, registry, records management, search and reunion, and post-adoption support functions, ensuring regulatory compliance and confidential processing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field with at least five years in social services.
• Experience with adoptees, birth families, and adoptive families; strong counseling and case consultation skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and program development skills; able to supervise staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Responds to PAS inquiries with counseling/coaching, referrals, and guidance for adoptees, birth families, and adoptive families.
• Maintains program statistics and records via Holt’s database.
• Provides file review, intermediary and search services, and citizenship assistance with timely, confidential processing.
• Oversees post-adoption services, records management, policy development, and compliance with regulations.
• Manages the Voluntary Adoption Registry and Assisted Search Services to meet state laws and ethical standards.
• Develops and delivers educational resources, trainings, webinars, and youth programming; contributes to program growth.
• Supports adoptee programs with planning, budgeting, staffing, mentoring, and event coordination.
• Keeps knowledge current on adoption research and best practices; shares with staff.
• Participates in departmental initiatives, public engagements, and organizational projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
