Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner to join our remote telephonic clinical call coverage team for weekend day coverage. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, providing weekend day clinical telephonic call coverage for skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, and autonomy.

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality telephonic care to a diverse patient population, collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Multiple state NP licenses are required; NM, NV, WA, and KS NP licenses are strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain additional state licenses as needed
• Experience in post-acute and/or telephone triage required
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
• Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Triage, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Coordinate care to optimize and improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations
