Qualifications

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited school.
• Active law license in at least one state.
• Experience in issue management and policy advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on legislative and regulatory developments at all levels of government.
• Support state, federal, and international legislative efforts in tort reform and medical malpractice.
• Develop position papers, testimony, and advocacy pieces as assigned.
• Communicate issues effectively to NAMIC members via articles, briefs, and web content.
• Travel up to 25% as needed and liaise with legal and NAMIC groups.
