Responsibilities

  • Advance Audubon’s Everglades policy goals through research and guidance on Everglades issues.
  • Advise on potential State and Federal priorities, opportunities, risks.
  • Research Florida water statutes and regulations; propose improvements.
  • Prepare analysis on restoration projects and environmental impact statements.
  • Draft fact sheets, letters, testimony, and related materials.
  • Lead advocacy strategy development for the Everglades.
  • Build relationships with FL DEP and SFWMD to influence policy outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Audubon science team and allies; represent at meetings.
