Job summary

Whiteboard Advisors is seeking top-notch fellows to join us part-time (up to 29 hours a week) from January to May 2027. This is a paid internship opportunity for early-career officials who are motivated to learn more about education and workforce research, advocacy, and communications.

Fellows assist with policy research and writing, monitor the media for breaking news and relevant commentary, and support the planning and execution of events, among many other responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into education policy issues relevant to Whiteboard Advisors clients, including support with drafting client-facing materials
• Research and synthesize news, legislation, and guidance at federal, state, and local levels
• Draft media lists, briefing documents, press releases, pitches, memos, and presentations for internal and external projects
• Support planning and development for events and influencer engagement opportunities
