Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide remote telemedicine care in Alaska. The role requires board certification, a valid Alaska license, and a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority. A minimum of one year in psychiatry and comfort with telehealth are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with PMHNP board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in-state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Licensed PMHNPs must be licensed in the state they practice.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to reduce symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and administer assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients and services.
