Job summary

Thriveworks is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for the Worcester, MA site to provide in-person and telemedicine assessments and care.

The clinician will prescribe medications, develop care plans, and complete required documentation per Thriveworks guidelines. Strong state licensure and prescriptive authority are essential, with ADHD protocol training provided in-house.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) board certified is required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state of practice is required.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Must be licensed and reside in the state in which practicing.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to alleviate mental health symptoms as needed.
• Develop and collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Handle paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
