Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Virginia-licensed PMHNP to provide autonomous, telehealth psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults.

Qualifications

• Virginia-licensed PMHNP with active DEA license.
• Master’s or doctoral PMHNP degree from an accredited program.
• PMHNP-BC board certification and independent practice capability.
• Experience with children, teens, and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Monitor treatment progress, safety, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators.
