Qualifications

• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and treatment planning.
• Experience with medication management and monitoring.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy protections.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
• Professional readiness and ongoing education in behavioral health.
• Effective written and verbal communication in clinical settings.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to handle complex cases across pediatric and adult populations.
• Experience with policy development and clinical protocols is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours coverage when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatry services and medication management per treatment plans.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
• Enter accurate notes and maintain patient records in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with team members and seek consultations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and regulatory standards.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with policies and guidelines.
• Review and interpret lab results, imaging, and test reports timely.
• Participate in outreach and off-site services within Thrive areas.
• Assist in updating clinical protocols and practice standards as required.
• Provide clinically supervised care with opportunities for remote work.
• Assist in discharge planning and coordination with families.
• Remain current with Thrive policies and regulatory updates.
