Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Distinguished Staff Development & Process Engineer in composites to define and drive PMC process development from early development through production. You will set technical strategy, lead DOEs, manage programs, and collaborate with design and manufacturing to ensure producible, high-performance components for Future of Flight initiatives.

The role requires a BS in engineering with 5+ years in PMC processes; a Masters/PhD and 7+ years is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 5+ years of experience in composites manufacturing engineering or PMC process development.
• Familiarity with PMC tooling and NDE methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategies to develop, qualify, and implement new PMC processes.
• Lead DOEs to understand how process parameters affect part quality and performance.
• Manage PMC process development programs, planning, execution, and risk with senior leadership.
• Integrate new PMC processes into manufacturing and MRO operations to ensure producibility.
• Establish best practices, write process specs, and share technical documentation.
• Monitor industry trends and collaborate with suppliers and research organizations.
