Job summary

Dane Street is looking for experienced Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians in Connecticut to join their independent reviewing panel. This fully remote position offers flexibility and the ability to customize your workload as a 1099 contractor.

As a Physician Reviewer, you will be responsible for evaluating medical records, preparing summaries, and providing independent opinions on cases involving musculoskeletal injuries and treatment planning. A minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
• Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical experience in PM&R.
• Experience in evaluating musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, and functional impairment cases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and prepare clinical summaries.
• Provide independent medical opinions for client queries.
• Review medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Participate in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary.
