Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a data-focused engineer to map data sources and manage data movement within PLM/MDM environments. The role involves implementing, configuring, and testing designs, with hands-on work on service-oriented components and POCs using standard patterns.

Responsibilities include aligning work with project goals, documenting design choices, and collaborating with business units to improve data quality and systems integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with required years of experience; military equivalence accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Application Engineering.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Experience with PLM/ALM and data quality across enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Execute data mapping, data movement, and interface tasks supporting data quality in PLM/MDM.
• Participate in design discussions and document decisions for projects.
• Develop, configure, and test designs for assigned components.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Evaluate tools and technologies to support tasks and build reusable service components.
• Build and test proofs-of-concept using established design patterns, under guidance.
