Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a data engineering professional to execute data mapping, data movement, and interfaces within PLM/MDM platforms. You will participate in design decisions, develop components, and test designs while aligning with enterprise standards. Exposure to microservices, Big Data, and cloud tech is expected.

The role requires 3+ years in Application Engineering and a relevant degree. This is a remote position with eligibility considerations per U.S. requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of professional experience in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Application Engineering.
• Military experience considered equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute data mapping, data movement, and interface tasks to support data quality in PLM/MDM platforms.
• Participate in technical discussions and document design decisions.
• Develop, configure, and test designs for components and tasks.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Research tools and technologies to support project tasks.
• Contribute to service-oriented data delivery platform components.
