Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer SME to support BESS and renewable energy projects. Remote role with frequent travel (up to 25%) to commissioning sites.

You will lead PLC programming, SCADA integration, FAT/SAT testing, and technical guidance for control architectures. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PLC programming (Schneider preferred), strong Modbus/DNP3 experience, and deep knowledge of Ignition SCADA and HMI development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in PLC programming, preferably Schneider Electric platforms.
• Experience with Modbus, DNP3, and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLC programming for BESS and solar projects using Schneider platforms.
• Develop, modify, and optimize control logic for utility-scale energy storage systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot Modbus communications between PLCs, inverters, and SCADA.
• Lead FAT/SAT testing and provide on-site commissioning support.
• Coordinate with SCADA leads and project managers as a technical SME.
