Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer SME to support our expanding BESS and renewable energy portfolio. You will provide expert-level PLC programming and SCADA integration for utility-scale projects, ensuring commissioning success and ongoing operational excellence.

Responsibilities include leading FAT/SAT, developing control logic, and coordinating with vendors and project teams. Travel up to 25% is required; a strong background in Schneider platforms and Ignition SCADA

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field.
5+ years in PLC programming; Schneider Electric platforms preferred.
Expert knowledge of Modbus, DNP3, and industrial protocols.
Experience with Ignition SCADA platform and HMI development.
Travel up to 25% for project commissioning support.

Responsibilities

Lead PLC programming for BESS and solar projects; develop and optimize control logic.
Configure and troubleshoot PLC–SCADA communication; Ignition-HMI integration.
Lead FAT/SAT testing, on-site commissioning, and system validation.
Provide technical SME guidance for control-system architecture and standards.
Develop documentation, FRDs, coding standards, and version control procedures.
