Job summary

7Seventy is seeking a Platform Site Reliability Engineer to design, scale, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, platform reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence to support reliable software delivery.

The role blends SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering, emphasizing IaC, deployment automation, observability, and incident management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or a closely related technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and supporting production cloud environments.
• Practical experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated software deployment processes.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems, diagnosing infrastructure problems, and resolving complex operational incidents.
• Experience working directly with software engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure supporting production applications and services.
• Build and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent, repeatable, and reliable infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, resiliency, scalability, availability, and system performance.
• Partner with software engineering teams to incorporate reliability, observability, and operational requirements into service design and production operations.
• Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, business continuity planning, and infrastructure recovery initiatives.
