Job summary

Humana, Inc. seeks a Project Management Lead to drive enterprise platform modernization and strategic transformation initiatives from planning through delivery. You will partner with executive leaders to align objectives with business priorities and manage complex programs across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong governance, change management, and communication skills to deliver on time and within budget. Remote work options are possible with occasional travel to Humana offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program leadership experience within large-scale initiatives.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation or platform modernization.
• Strong executive governance and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership, communication, and change management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise platform modernization and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Partner with executive and senior leadership to align program objectives with organizational strategy.
• Develop and maintain integrated roadmaps, implementation plans, milestone schedules, and delivery frameworks across multiple workstreams.
• Establish governance structures and facilitate executive-level forums to drive decision-making, issue resolution, and accountability.
• Identify, assess, and manage enterprise risks, interdependencies, and organizational impacts to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Direct cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts across business, technology, operations, vendors, and external partners.
• Drive resource planning and optimization to support evolving business priorities and implementation demands.
• Lead organizational readiness, change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning efforts.
• Monitor program performance, measure success against strategic objectives, and communicate progress through executive reporting and presentations.
• Influence strategic planning and investment decisions by providing data-driven recommendations, delivery insights, and execution expertise.
• Promote operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve governance, delivery methodologies, processes, and organizational effectiveness.
