Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Manager for Platform Engineering and FinOps to lead our cloud-first delivery platforms. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and internal developer platforms while guiding FinOps and software procurement activities.

This role partners with Infrastructure and Cloud Operations to optimize architecture, tooling, and cost governance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in platform/DevOps, 2+ years in leadership, and AWS/FinOps toolchain expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications in AWS, FinOps, or DevOps toolchains preferred.
• 5+ years in platform engineering or DevOps roles.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing cloud spend and collaborating with infrastructure or finance teams on cost optimization.
• Knowledge of AWS services, cost management tools, observability platforms, and developer enablement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform engineering efforts including CI/CD pipeline management and internal developer platform initiatives.
• Oversee integration and maintenance of Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and Snyk to support development workflows.
• Supervise cloud FinOps practices including budget forecasting, usage tracking, tagging enforcement, and savings recommendations.
• Guide observability engineering with metrics, logs, and traces to improve reliability and incident response.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Cloud Operations to support cloud-native patterns and platform compatibility.
• Drive adoption of automation, IaC, and GitOps within platform workflows.
• Support enterprise cost governance by producing reports and dashboards showing AWS usage and optimization opportunities.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing team of platform engineers, DevOps engineers, and FinOps analysts.
• Define and execute a roadmap for platform modernization and cloud financial maturity.
• Participate in and support compliance and DEI program objectives.
