Job summary

P-1 AI Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the BYOC deployment model and Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple clouds. You will build robust tooling and secure update mechanisms while collaborating with product and research teams to scale Archie in customer environments.

You will work on distributed systems, security, and observability, ensuring reliable deployments and end-to-end ownership in a hybrid remote/onsite setup in North America.

Qualifications

• Built and operated Kubernetes-based systems in production.
• Designed infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
• Implemented CI/CD or GitOps workflows across environments.
• Comfortable across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the BYOC deployment model for Archie across customer environments.
• Build and own Kubernetes-based infrastructure across multiple clouds and customer setups.
• Create deployment tooling using Helm, GitOps, or similar approaches.
• Implement secure and reliable update and upgrade mechanisms for restricted networks.
• Collaborate with product, research, and forward-deployed engineers to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Debug and improve production deployments, identifying bottlenecks in performance and operability.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and debugging patterns for distributed systems.
