Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the technical execution for a security product pillar. You will enable scalable, repeatable demos and evaluations across global sales motions, bridging DevOps practices with cloud infrastructure.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, and GTM teams to ensure high-quality demos and readiness for new product releases, while continuously improving automation and lab environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Solutions Engineering, or related highly technical role.
• Deep hands-on expertise in identity and access management (IAM) and privileged access management (PAM).
• Experience deploying with CyberArk Secrets Manager (Conjur) for secrets management and DevOps security workflows.
• Advanced cloud infrastructure skills (AWS, Azure, GCP), including containers and scaling distributed environments.
• Proven experience with Terraform or Ansible for IaC.
• Experience deploying AI tools and autonomous AI agents in cloud or dev workflows.
• Advanced system administration across Windows and Unix with strong CLI and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell for automation and CI/CD.
• Experience architecting or leading automated lab/demo environments is preferred.
• Strong systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Demo Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure: Build and maintain scalable, cloud-native demo environments and IaC pipelines.
• DevOps & Solution Building: Create automated, ephemeral evaluation environments simulating complex architectures.
• Technical Evaluation Architecture: Define use cases, success criteria, and update guidance and scripts.
• Release Readiness & Field Enablement: Lead technical readiness for new releases with tools and environments for field demos.
• Analytics, Insights & Continuous Improvement: Monitor environments and drive improvements.
