Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the technical execution for a key identity security product pillar across global demos, evaluations, and releases. This senior individual contributor role bridges DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and technical sales engineering to deliver scalable, repeatable demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a related highly technical role.
• Deep hands-on IAM/PAM expertise and security platform experience.
• Experience deploying CyberArk Secrets Manager (Conjur) for secrets management.
• Cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP with containerization & scaling.
• Infra-as-code using Terraform or Ansible.
• AI tools in cloud workflows and automation.
• Windows and Unix admin with strong CLI & troubleshooting.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation & CI/CD.
• Experience leading automated lab/demo environments is preferred.
• Strong systems thinking to translate strategy into automation.
• Ability to work with senior field architects and sales engineers.
• Senior IC mindset in a fast-paced matrix environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical/business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable cloud demo environments and IaC pipelines.
• Apply DevOps to create automated evaluation labs simulating real architectures.
• Define evaluation use cases and success criteria; update guidance.
• Lead release readiness with Product/Marketing and field enablement.
• Monitor health of environments and drive improvements via refactoring.
