Job summary
GDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic platform engineer / automation test engineer to join our team supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts in its modernization effort for mission-critical applications used by federal staff and external stakeholders.
The senior automation tester will design, develop and run automated tests in cloud environments, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with manual testers to maximize value while adhering to SAFe/agile practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
- 5+ years developing automated test scripts for ReactJS/NodeJS.
- 5+ years configuring test automation in cloud (AWS/Azure).
- Experience testing APIs via gateway and cloud services.
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
- Knowledge of SDLC and SAFe/Agile.

- Evaluate requirements and capabilities for test automation.
- Set up and configure cloud test automation framework.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with manual testers to prioritize automation.
- Develop and run automated tests in cloud environments.
- Ensure code quality with version control standards.
- Create test data sets and environments.
- Understand SDLC to anticipate complexities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Work with modern web front-end/back-end interactions.
