Job summary

GDIT is seeking a remote Deploy Automation Engineer to support CMS activities across Plan Management, E&E, Financial Management, and Marketplace Health Exchange. You will analyze, design, code, test, and maintain automated deployment pipelines across multiple applications, and support deployment tools.

Typical day includes establishing and evolving CI/CD pipelines, coordinating with developers, and ensuring smooth release processes in a federal healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years CI/CD/DevOps experience.
• Expert with RedHat Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
• Advanced Linux operations.
• Advanced experience with Packer, Groovy, OpenShift, and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Advanced experience with Sonar, Nexus, and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Terraform.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SAFe/Scrum/Kanban.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Must have residency in the United States for the last 3 of 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and develop continuous build/integration infrastructure.
• Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple Linux environments.
• Create and update build and deployment scripts.
• Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
• Support full automation of CI/testing.
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance for CI/CD operations.
• Onboard, train, and support developers from source control to deployment.
• Enable DevOps by moving code from Dev/Test to Staging and Production.
• Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
