Job summary

CTG is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer - Platform Architecture to shape the architecture of a large-scale software ecosystem across desktop, cloud, and web technologies. Remote in the United States, the role focuses on modernization, cloud strategy, and mentoring engineering teams.

You will lead enterprise platform initiatives, define secure, scalable architectures, and drive migration from legacy frameworks to React-based solutions while aligning with AWS and Azure environments.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in software architecture and enterprise platforms.
Proven track record delivering cloud-native, multi-tier architectures.
Experience modernizing legacy .NET apps and migrating to React.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and technical strategy for desktop, cloud, middleware, and web platforms.
Define scalable, secure architectures and integration patterns.
Drive modernization including migrating from ASP.NET MVC and AngularJS to React.
Design cloud-native services and REST APIs across Azure and AWS.
Establish governance, security, authentication, encryption and secrets management.
Lead CI/CD architecture and DevOps practices.
Oversee SQL Server architecture and performance.
Design enterprise integrations with middleware and field service platforms.
Produce architecture documentation and engineering best practices.
Mentor engineers and conduct architecture reviews.
