To drive cloud strategy and modernize enterprise platforms, the contract Senior Software Engineer in Platform Architecture will lead architecture and technical strategy for desktop, cloud, and web-based platforms while mentoring engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical strategy for enterprise desktop, cloud, middleware, and web-based platforms
• Define scalable and secure application architectures, driving modernization initiatives from legacy systems to React-based solutions
• Establish architecture governance, security standards, and oversee CI/CD architecture and deployment automation

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in a technical leadership role
• Proven experience in designing enterprise software platforms across desktop, web, and cloud technologies
• Expertise in C++, C#, .NET Framework, and modern web technologies such as React and Node.js
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services, including REST API design and enterprise security practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master\'s degree preferred
