Job summary

Celestica, Inc. seeks a Planning Advisor to serve as the primary contact for demand forecast across sites and customers in the Americas. You will finalize demand plans and provide analysis to sites for capacity planning, helping to align production with contract terms.

In this role you will work with Global units, monitor forecast loads for the Master Production Schedule, and contribute to the development of global planning toolsets while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact for the customer and sites related to the demand forecast.
• Works with Global Customer Units and SCM to finalize demand plan used by each site.
• Analyzes customer forecasts using tools and models to challenge or confirm.
• Provides analysis to sites as input to site material and capacity planning.
• Interlocks with Global unit management to close demand plan for sites.
• Participates in the development of the global planning toolset, especially advanced planning and scheduling systems.
• Utilizes planning toolsets and knowledge of contracts to support forecasting activities (e.g., churn analysis or contract compliance).
• Provides direction to site SCM Operations on forecast loads for the Master Production Schedule.
