Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners seeks a Systems / Data Analyst to support its Technical Services group within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. This role will administer Planisware and develop data solutions using Power BI and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Planisware administration, strong Power BI delivery skills, and experience with regulated environments. Pharma familiarity is highly preferred, with collaboration across IT, R&D, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5–8 years in a systems/data/business analyst role.
• Hands-on Planisware administration/configuration experience.
• Proven ability to develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong SharePoint site design and administration experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Planisware subject matter expert and system administrator.
• Own Planisware configuration, user access, governance, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT and global stakeholders to maintain Planisware.
• Design and improve systems including SharePoint sites and project trackers.
• Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, KPI cards, and reports.
• Analyze data from multiple sources and translate findings into insights.
• Support annual planning cycles, milestone tracking, and portfolio reporting.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain data archiving and records-management practices.
• Leverage Power BI and AI tools to enable self-service reporting.
• Collaborate across R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, QA, Finance, IT.
• Communicate findings and system updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot system issues and support data integration.
• Develop system docs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and data processes.
