Job summary

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Washington is seeking a Plan Pharmacy Director to lead pharmacy program strategy, compliance, and affordability initiatives. You will liaise with state agencies and internal partners to drive program priorities and manage formulary, prior authorization, and benefit coding requirements.

Based in Washington with remote capability, the role requires PharmD/B.S.Pharm, WA license, and 3+ years in managed care or Medicaid/Medicare environments.

Qualifications

• Licensed Washington Pharmacist (B.S.Pharm or Pharm.D)
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organization abilities

Responsibilities

• Executes the pharmacy benefit and compliance with the state contract, state policies, and state/federal statutes and regulations governing pharmacy
• Develops, executes, and drives strategic plans and goals for pharmacy programs
• Analyzes forecasting and trend information for operational and business planning
• Maintains relationships with internal and external partners as primary Pharmacy contact
• Supports clinical program development and member satisfaction initiatives
• Ensures timely submission of accurate pharmacy reports and deliverables to the state Medicaid agency and health plan
