Job summary
Natural Elements Painting & Repair is hiring a part-time Assistant Plan Estimator to support our commercial estimating and sales process. This remote role requires availability during Eastern Standard Time business hours and offers hourly pay of $7.00–$9.00.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn construction estimating systems. You will review project plans, prepare estimates, manage bid information, and support proposal development and follow-up with
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, comfortable with numbers and documents.
Responsibilities
- Review commercial project plans, drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Identify missing information, bid deadlines, and project-specific instructions.
- Create, update, and organize estimates using company procedures and software.
- Prepare draft estimates, scope notes, and proposal information for review.
- Follow up on submitted estimates and keep files organized.
- Update company systems after client interactions and follow-ups.
- Escalate complex items to management before finalizing proposals.
- Participate in estimate reviews and sales meetings.
