Job summary

University of California - Merced invites applications for Part-Time Instructor, PK-3 to teach in the Preliminary PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction Credential Program. Courses will be delivered in a hybrid format, with online synchronous sessions via Zoom and in-person classes in the San Joaquin Valley region.

Instructors will prepare future educators to implement developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and culturally responsive instruction aligned with CTC PK-3 ECE Teaching

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach PK‑3 courses in a hybrid format (online synchronous via Zoom and in-person classes).
• Align instruction with California CTC PK‑3 ECE Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs) and program standards.
• Prepare and deliver course materials, assessments, and student support.
• Contribute to program development and evaluation to maintain credential standards.
