Job summary

California State University, Fresno invites applications for the 26-27 AY Temporary Faculty Pool - University Coach (Supervisor) in the PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction Credential Program. The University Coach supervises credential candidates, coordinates with Mentor Teachers, and acts as a liaison with partner schools for program improvement.

Qualified applicants will hold a clear teaching credential plus PK-3 or ECE credentials, a Master’s in ECE, and at least three years PK-3 teaching

Qualifications

• Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with 24 ECE units or PK-3 credential.
• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field.
• At least three years of PK-3 teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Mentor Teachers for orientation and discuss expectations and co-teaching.
• Make regular visits to the school site to meet with Teacher Candidates and Mentor Teachers.
• Complete (in TK20) a minimum of six formal lesson observations and provide feedback.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Teacher Candidates and support growth throughout the semester.
• Attend mandatory program events, meetings, and professional developments.
