Description

Note: This is NOT a UAS, UAV, RPV, or DRONE pilot position.

We are seeking Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) candidates to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Dallas TRACON (D10) in Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX, supporting FAA air traffic controller training.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate simulated radar display and voice communication systems to mimic pilot and ATC interactions during training exercises.
• Respond to voice commands, input data, translate information into ATC terminology, and communicate via VCS with proper phraseology.
• Complete certifications through classroom tests and lab performance as a Remote Pilot Operator.

Qualifications

Required

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent, basic computer proficiency, ability to interpret diagrams and manuals, clear communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and simulation labs (ATC Tower, TRACON, En Route).
• Knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 is a plus.
• Effective communication, team-building skills, proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with tech tools, and pilot/controller phraseology knowledge.
