Excelon Solutions is seeking a PHP Web Developer to advance a mature telecommunications operations platform. You will contribute to backend services with Laravel, build responsive frontend interfaces using Vue.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, and collaborate in a GitLab-driven development process.

The role emphasizes stability, code quality, and operational reliability across production features, with opportunities to modernize the codebase and reduce technical debt while supporting releases

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of telecommunications and operational requirements.
• Experience with PHP and Laravel for backend development.
• Ability to build interfaces with Vue.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with GitLab source control and development workflows.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for our mission-critical telecommunications operations platform.
• Work within our mature application and codebase, assessing existing functionality before making changes to protect compatibility and stability.
• Build backend services and application features, along with responsive, maintainable user interfaces.
• Investigate and resolve complex application, data, workflow, and production issues.
• Translate telecommunications operations needs into reliable software solutions.
• Manage source control, merge requests, issues, releases, and development documentation in GitLab.
• Take part in peer reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Test and validate colleagues' work through functional and regression testing and acceptance-criteria checks.
• Collaborate with developers, QA staff, product owners, operations teams, and telecommunications subject-matter experts.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical analysis.
• Create and maintain automated tests, technical documentation, implementation notes, and support procedures.
• Help modernize our application, reduce technical debt, improve performance, and plan architecture.
• Support production releases and help troubleshoot operational issues.
