Tier4 Group is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in document processing to build automation systems and generate PDFs from data. This 6-month extendable contract is 100% remote with potential for full-time conversion.

Candidates in Eastern or Central time zones are preferred. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining PHP-based workflows, advanced PDF creation, AWS integrations, and secure data exchange with internal and third-party systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
• Experience with PDF generation, document composition, and document workflows (PDFLib, CC, Adobe, iText).
• Experience in high-volume document generation, transformation, and delivery processes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications for large-scale document generation workflows.
• Build advanced PDF creation with font management, encoding, embedding, and rendering.
• Integrate apps with AWS, internal systems, and third-party APIs.
• Automate address validation, postal optimization, data enrichment, and manifest generation.
