Job summary

Centene is seeking a Trainer I to develop and conduct training programs and auditing tools for Pharmacy Services employees. This primarily remote role requires availability M-F, 9-5:30pm or 10-6:30pm ET, with occasional travel.

The position calls for a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of training in a managed care or healthcare setting, along with strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of training experience, preferably in a managed care or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analyses to determine specific training needs for Pharmacy Services department staff.
• Identify, select, and develop appropriate training programs, including the selection or design of appropriate training aids.
• Evaluate effectiveness of training programs, including cost and benefit analyses.
• Research, analyze and recommend external training programs.
• Maintain records of training activities and employee progress.
• Assist in auditing work performed by staff and present findings and recommendations for areas of improvement to management.
• Assist with revisions to policy and procedures and/or work process development.
• May be required to travel a few times per year.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
