Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a remote Manager, Pharmacy Technicians to lead a new Medication Management team for the Mission Simplify Project. You will supervise technicians, manage workflow, and develop prior authorization procedures while coordinating with multiple departments across the organization.

The role requires a Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain after hire) and strong Excel skills, with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of pharmacy technician experience in mail order, hospital, or retail.
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments to resolve escalated complaints and inquiries.
• Monitor prior authorization processes and update policies and procedures.
• Ensure operational integrity and compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Monitor prior authorization activities and determine appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee department performance and review reports and audit findings to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure provider notification letters are communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Oversee multiple pharmacy systems to track and triage prior authorization requests for Medicaid and coverage determinations for Medicare D.
