Job summary

The Cigna Group's Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This remote-friendly role supports a nationwide patient base, with required licensure in FL, IN or PA and 1+ years of experience.

You'll translate prescriptions, enter patient data, and collaborate with pharmacists while maintaining state compliance. We offer a stable schedule (Mon-Fri, 10:00am-7:00pm Central), comprehensive benefits starting day one, and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician work experience required.
• Valid FL, IN or PA State Pharmacy Technician license required. National Certification a plus.
• Excellent customer service skill.
• Basic math and computer skills including Windows navigation, Microsoft applications, internet and email.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to learn internal systems, processes and programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be a superstar in the eyes of providers and patients.
• Translate prescriptions from the prescriber and enter information in the patient's profile in accordance with state regulations.
• Be a team player: Work with pharmacists per work instructions, policy and procedures, management direction or any national or state regulations.
• You'll start with training, but you're not doing it alone. You'll enjoy a supportive environment with your peers and other teams who want you to succeed.
• You'll ensure quality assurance, report adverse events, and assist with prescriber and patient outreach.
