Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, work-from-home position. Must reside in Pennsylvania or Arizona and will assist patients with life-sustaining medications, process prescription orders, and coordinate with insurers and providers.

Strong data-entry and phone skills are essential. The role involves inbound/outbound calls, data entry, and ensuring timely shipments, with an 8-hour shift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience; phone experience is a plus.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in AZ or PA; trainee license may be considered; certification preferred.
• Tech Savvy: strong computer and data-entry skills using Microsoft Office.
• High-speed internet with wired connection.
• Private and quiet workspace for work from home.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to collect patient demographics and arrange first shipment.
• Create requests and contact providers/doctors offices for prescription requests.
• Data entry focused responsibilities and ensure prescriptions are accurately entered in the system.
• Investigate non-clinical issues with pharmacists, doctors and other providers.
• Provide guidance to patients regarding medication coverage and process orders efficiently.
