Waymark is a mission-driven healthcare tech company delivering Medicaid-focused support. The Pharmacy Technician role provides virtual, telephonic patient assistance and partners with Waymark pharmacists to improve access and adherence.

You report to the Virginia Clinical Pharmacist Lead and collaborate with CHWs, therapists, and care coordinators. Applicants should have Virginia licensure, PTCB CPhT, and 2+ years in outpatient/primary care settings, with a passion for serving underserved

Qualifications

• Virginia State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
• PTCB CPhT Certification.
• 2+ years in outpatient/clinic/ managed care settings.
• Experience serving underserved populations.
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient with multiple computer systems including EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication needs with CHWs, care coordinators, and therapists.
• Perform telephonic and SMS outreach to address access and adherence.
• Facilitate medication access and triage inquiries with the pharmacy team.
• Assist with prior authorizations, formulary changes, and substitutions.
• Document information to ensure productivity and quality metrics.
• Contribute to process improvements in a startup environment.
