Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to assist in distributing medications, maintain a specialized area, and support pharmaceutical care under a pharmacist preceptor. Responsibilities include order entry, appropriate labeling, and ensuring correct billing data while maintaining compliance with procedures.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and about 1 year of experience; you must meet TX Board requirements (RPH-INT or PHT) as part of licensure.

Formación

• General knowledge of Pharmacy Care modalities, terminology and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions and flow chart protocols.
• Good mathematical and counting skills; ability to verify numbers and manage inventory.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains a specialized area and supports care delivery in purchasing, receiving, billing and medication reconciliation.
• Enters medication orders, fills according to label and formulary, and ensures correct billing data.
• Performs inventory control, stocking and shelf maintenance in pharmacy areas.
• Compounds or admixtures under pharmacist supervision; prepares IV admixtures following sterile techniques.
