Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 consistent years as a pharmacy technician.
• Hospital retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• No gaps in employment history and valid licensure.

Responsibilities

• Locate correct medication and strength to complete picking of order.
• Prepare, count, label, and package pharmaceuticals for Pharmacist approval.
• Purchase, receive and coordinate inventory.
• Maintain and update inventory recap report.
• Retrieve discontinued or expired medications and document actions.
• Maintain prescription logs and calibrate equipment as required.
• Assist with temperature logs, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to policies.
