Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking a Pharmacy Technology Analyst I to support our Pharmacy team. The role blends pharmacy operations with technology, covering platforms, connectivity, data feeds, and cross-functional collaboration with vendors.

Ideal candidates bring pharmacy benefits knowledge and strong technical aptitude, plus experience in requirements gathering, data mapping, and testing, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years Healthcare Industry experience.
Minimum 2 years with operational analysis and systems integration understanding.

Responsibilities

Support execution of pharmacy technology strategies to improve efficiency.
Perform data entry, tracking deliverables, and organizing technical materials.
Identify and escalate basic technical issues with potential business impact.
Support pharmacy technology projects by documenting requirements and tasks.
Maintain version control and accuracy of technical documentation and system updates.
Engage in onboarding and technical training to learn pharmacy systems and workflows.
Ensure alignment of technical processes with regulatory and policy standards.
