Job summary

Trillium Professional is seeking a Claims Analyst for a contract, remote position in Boston. The role focuses on managing complex pharmacy insurance claims, denials, and reimbursement issues to maximize revenue while complying with Medicare and payer requirements.

Under the Revenue Cycle Supervisor, you will research denied claims, pursue payments, analyze discrepancies, and work with teams to improve billing accuracy and reduce denials. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle, coding, medical billing or patient accounting.
• Experience in hospital/oncology/pharmacy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve denied or rejected pharmacy claims.
• Follow up with insurers on unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Review reimbursement issues, payer edits, and billing discrepancies.
• Interpret prescription orders and pharmacy billing documentation.
• Monitor claim edits and suggest workflow improvements to reduce denials.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, commercial payer, and billing requirements.
• Process and monitor claims within Epic.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and revenue cycle teams to reduce write-offs.
