Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to work under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist or supervisor. You will obtain new patient clinical and prescription plan coverage information and review new prescriptions as part of clinical support.

The position offers 10–20 hours per week onsite while you complete your Pharm.D. degree, with emphasis on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving in a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, obtain patients' clinical and prescription plan coverage information.
