Job summary

ConnectiveRx is seeking Pharmacy Interns to join our team as part-time contractors. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will review prescription orders for completeness and enter data into the pharmacy management system to support pharmacist verification.

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program (PY1 or higher).
• Must be registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern and maintain active licensure during employment.

Responsibilities

• Review prescription orders for completeness and enter prescription, patient, and prescriber information into the pharmacy management system for pharmacist review.
• Collaborate with team members to create and maintain efficient workflow to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Receive inbound calls from patients or prescribers and assist with information regarding prescription status.
• Contact healthcare provider offices by phone or fax to obtain missing patient and/or prescriber demographic information when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
