Job summary

University of Rochester seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Pharmacy Finance to perform specialized financial analysis, support reporting, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will work with Workday, TPMS, Epic, and Sage to provide accurate data for leadership decisions.

You will develop dashboards, review purchasing and invoicing, assist with budget variance analyses, and help train pharmacy staff on policies. This is a remote-friendly, full-time role within the Pharmacy SMH department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field with 2 years experience
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles
• 4 years of related experience preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized financial analysis for pharmacy operations to support reporting and GAAP compliance.
• Develops dashboards for pharmacy leadership and reviews requisitions for accuracy and budgeting alignment.
• Supports procurement processes, cost forecasting, and revenue analysis.
• Reviews data in UR Financials, TPMS, Epic and other systems to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepares reports for external auditors and assists with policy development and training in pharmacy finance.
• Keeps current with financial management trends and participates in special projects as assigned
